Placing Orders

Verification of age

By placing a check in the box and continuing when asked to confirm your age as 18 years old or older on arrival to this website, a contract is entered by which you have verified that you are of an age (18 years or more) which allows you to buy and consume alcohol. If you are not 18 years old or more or live in a country where alcohol is either disallowed or is only available to persons older than your current age you must immediately leave this website. Continuing to use this website is a declaration that you are of the correct age to purchase alcohol in the country you are accessing this website from.

By creating an account on our website’s store you agree to our company collecting certain personal details about you. This data may be used to keep you informed from time to time about our products and services that you may be interested in. This data is for the use of this company only and will not be given to third parties, apart from those specifically chosen by us to compete orders or transactions. The Lerwick Brewing Company will endeavour to make to ensure that any personal information shared with our company is protected.

Payment Facilities

Our payment facilities are provided by Worldpay in collaboration with Cardsave and Streamline. Worldpay have been chosen to provide card processing services as they are one of the largest and most secure payment processing providers in Europe and are fully compliant with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). Subject to availability

Our products may at times be subject to availability. If, for any reason, we are unable to complete an order the person(s) affected will be notified of this and offered an alternative. If for whatever reason an alternative is unavailable or unsuitable the person’s right to cancel applies as shown below.

Delivery Promise

We will endeavour to arrange delivery of goods purchased from us within 7 days of receiving a completed order and payment. If what whatever reason this is not possible, i.e. closure over holiday periods, industrial action, the person(s) affected will be notified of delay in delivery and the delivery rescheduled for as soon as practicable after this event.

Prices Statement

The prices of products shown on this website are correct at time of purchase. We reserve the right to change these prices without notification, however we will not increase prices of products/orders still outstanding which were placed prior to the price change.

Returns and Right to Cancel

If the product supplied does not for any reason fulfil your expectations or you change your mind after placing an order you have the right to cancel. This includes a period of up to 7 working days after delivery days of receipt of goods. Please notify us by either email or in writing the reasons for returning/cancelling goods. A full refund or exchange will be automatically offered. Refunds will be made as soon as possible after cancellation and in any case within 30 days. For goods that have already been dispatched there is a duty to return to goods in the same condition that they were received. Any costs incurred in returning goods will be payable by the person returning the goods. We will not accept charges for returning goods. Failure to return goods after cancellation may result in further action to claim back any refunded costs.

Lerwick IPA Launch Competition

Competition Rules

Competition open to all UK residents over the age of 18. Entering or submitting details is an acceptance of these rules and confirmation of age requirement.

Prize Details – One case (12 bottles) Lerwick IPA 330ml beer.

Closing date – Midnight on the Sunday 15th November 2015 – entries after this date will not be counted. To enter this competition please ‘Like’ the competition image through our social media channels. The names of each person entered through social media will be collected and a winner will be drawn at random after the closing date and contacted directly through the chosen social media channel used. The winner’s name will be announced through our website and social media after the competition closes. We will not pass on your details to third parties, however we may contact you in future about our products that you may be interested in.
