60° North Lager has been shortlisted as a finalist in the Beer & Cider Product of the Year category of the 2024 Scotland Food & Drink Excellence Awards.

Lerwick Brewery are delighted to announce that 60° North Lager has been shortlisted as a finalist in the Beer & Cider Product of the Year category of the 2024 Scotland Food & Drink Excellence Awards.

The judging panel, which included buyers from some of the UK’s largest retailers such as Asda, Sainsbury, Co-op and Scotmid Co-op, alongside influential figures from the food and drink industry, rigorously tasted and scored each product to determine the shortlist.

The shortlisted products showcase the rich heritage and innovative spirit of Scottish food and drink

60° North Lager is a Helles style lager, named after the line of latitude Shetland sits on. Located over 100 miles north of the UK Mainland, Shetland’s crisp, fresh air and plentiful clear water create the perfect environment for brewing really great lager.

60° North Lager is cold conditioned for at least four weeks to develop its distinctive taste and packs a flavour punch – Munich malt and German hops combine to create a thirst-quenching and refreshing drink.
